Q.  Should I wear my eye glasses to the appointment?

A.   Yes - please wear them or bring them to your appointment.

Q.  Should I wear my contact lenses to the appointment?

A.     Yes  - you can wear them unless your eyes are red and uncomfortable.   Bring your eye glasses too!

Q.  How often should I get my eyes examined?

A.     Everyone should have an eye exam at least once a year. 

Q.   When should my children have their first eye exam?

A.    Children should have their eyes examined by age 3.

Q.  What should I bring to my eye exam?

A.     Please bring your medical insurance card, your license or ID, a list of medications, and a form of payment.  Please be prepared to fill out paperwork when you arrive unless you have already completed the forms available on this website.  We ask that you update your information on a yearly basis. 

Q.  How long will an annual eye exam take?

A.     A comphrensive eye exam may take approximately 30 minutes to 60 minutes. 

Q.  Can I pick out my frame on the same day as my examination?

A.     Yes - we encourage you to browse our frame dispensary and speak to our opticians with any questions you may have regarding your prescription or style of frame you would prefer.

Q.  Should everyone wear sunglasses? 

A.    Yes - but they don't need to be tinted as long as your lenses protect you from utraviolet sun rays.  Our opticians will recommend the best lenses to protect you.
